Neo-Nazi skinheads on Bold Street
On Saturday 16th January, Liverpool Antifascists held a benefit gig at the Liverpool Social Centre on Bold Street. The event was a resounding success, filling the venue to capacity and raising an estimated £500 for the anti-fascist cause.
A full report on the event will follow soon.
However, due to the nature of the event, it also attracted some unwanted attention alongside the many punks and antifascists who turned out in support.
In the video below, we see five local boneheads, amongst them the ever-delightful Liam Pinkham, seig heil for the camera. They make no secret of where their allegiances lie. The five were quickly outnumbered by antifascists, who formed a physical barrier to prevent them entering the venue. Eventually, two passing police came over to see what was going on, and removed the neo-nazis from the scene.
Pinkham, who posts on Stormfront as Pino88, was previously convicted of threatening to burn down the News from Nowhere bookstore.
Long-standing antifascists and followers of this blog will also note the record Pinkham and his mates have of providing unofficial support for the BNP, from their Blackpool European election victory celebrations to BNP “super-activist” Peter Tierney’s last appearence at the Crown Court.

Liam Pinkham (far-left) and his fellow boneheads gather around a union flag at Peter Tierney's last court appearence. Andrew Tierney can be seen arguing with the police in the background.
